Honestly, I prefer this new change. This anime is called parasyte after all. He is much more interesting now. From the beginning of this anime I liked migi more than Izumi. Izumi had altruism, he was humane just like any typical shonen main character however the way migi thought was intriguing and I felt myself agreeing with his persepective somewhat, I liked his selfishness as well. (Ofc I am not saying human lives are unimportant however i could understand migis perspective)
